About me
My path into therapy began with a deep curiosity about human relationships and emotional wellbeing. From an early age, I was drawn to understanding people’s experiences and helping others feel seen and understood. I studied Psychology in Barcelona before completing a BSc (Hons) in Counselling and Psychology in Edinburgh, while developing person-centred counselling experience supporting adults and young people affected by trauma and early life adversity. Becoming a mother further deepened my understanding of care, connection, and emotional relationships, strengthening my commitment to relational therapeutic work.
Outside the room I love getting lost in the gaze of Scotland’s dramatic landscapes — one of the many reasons this country captured my soul. I enjoy cycling and long walks in nature, as well as spending time with my family, music and reading.
Therapy that meets you where you are.
Working relationally means paying attention to how you experience yourself in connection with others and how these relationships shape your emotional world. Influenced by the Gottman Method, my approach has evolved into a more holistic way of working; one that recognises the connection between relationships, emotions, thoughts, bodily sensations, and attachment patterns.
I adapt the therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs of each individual or couple. Together, we explore what way of working may best support your presenting difficulties, which may include approaches such as CBT, psychodynamic therapy, attachment theory, or transactional analysis. Compassion-focused and trauma-informed approaches can also be particularly helpful when working with experiences shaped by emotional pain, adversity, or relational difficulties.
My aim is to offer a supportive and collaborative space where you can make sense of your experiences, process emotions, and develop more compassionate and fulfilling ways of relating to yourself and others. In our sessions, I also encourage clients to reconnect with areas of joy, meaning, and wellbeing, recognising the importance of nurturing the parts of life that bring grounding, balance, and connection.
Grounding in soothing and supportive practices can be an important part of the therapeutic process, helping to create safety, deepen self-awareness, and support lasting emotional growth.
Inclusive Therapy for Individuals & Couples.
I work with individuals and couples providing a safe, inclusive, and supportive space for all backgrounds. This includes LGBTQ+ partnerships, blended families, and intercultural relationships. Whether you are dating, engaged, newly married, or have been together for many years, I support you in developing a deeper understanding of your relationship and your individual journey.
At the heart of my practice is a warm, collaborative approach, creating a space that gently responds to your individual needs while integrating psychoeducational tools to offer a supportive therapeutic blueprint for growth and understanding.
